The Job :

As a Key Account Manager, you are responsible for the international sales to personal care customers in Europe.

Your mission :
- Overseeing a diverse portfolio of customers ranging from strategic global key accounts to specialized firms that value your technical expertise.
- Strengthening presence in the Personal Care market segment by expanding business with existing clients mainly, and by prospecting for new ones in a second time.
- Serving as a trusted business partner to clients, leveraging extensive market and application knowledge.
- Thoroughly preparing for and following up on customer interactions and visits.
- Cultivating strong relationships across various departments within strategic accounts.
- Collaborating closely with colleagues from different departments, including marketing, supply chain, and purchasing, to ensure alignment with both customer needs and Oleon's objectives.
- Achieving both financial and non-financial targets.
- Providing regular reports to the general manager Southern Europe.

Who are we looking for?

You'll succeed if :

Experience and professional qualifications required for the role :
- Master's degree - in chemical engineering or equivalent by experience. Strong affinity with chemical processes and industrial applications required.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in sales in the personal care industry, selling in a B2B environment (to key cosmetics industry players in Europe) and eager to close the deal, selling both products and solutions).
- Ability to provide dialogues with key customers in the personal care industry through your elaborated network at these large cosmetic industry players.
- Strong knowledge in product development, formulations (optional) and new market introductions & launches by/through working with these large accounts.
- Key account manager expertise, resulting in commercial, market & technical know-how. Ability to provide feedback on market trends/R&D projects, through your market experience or communication with your elaborated network.
- A proven track record of superior sales achievements (e.g., 100% or more of sales targets, significant competitive wins, significant account growth, awards, etc.), partnering and developing business with strategic global key accounts.
- Excellent communication and people skills with a strong ability to communicate across a range of diverse cultures and corporate levels, pro-active, business driven and result oriented.
- Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment by working both independently and as part of a team meeting deadlines and expectations.
