Software Engineer H/F - Alstom Saint-Ouen - 41

As a part of its predictive maintenance solution, Alstom Services Advanced Maintenance Analytics aims to offer tools and state-of-the start solutions to manage the health of rolling stock and signaling equipment to detect degradation and provide a diagnosis to maintenance teams.

PURPOSE

You will BE a core member of the software and data management team dedicated to developing and apply state-of-the-art advanced maintenance algorithms for railway clients.

Your purpose will BE :

Contribute to the industrialization and the deployment of our AMA solution
Partner with our experts to create a cohesive working environment driven by innovation

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute full software development lifecycle (Agile)
Write well-designed, testable code
Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
Document and maintain software functionality
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
Comply with project plans and industry standards
Ensure software is updated with latest features

REQUIRED COMPETENCES

Mandatory

Engineering degree in computer science, software engineer or equivalent

EXPERIENCE

Mandatory :

5 to 7 years of experience with a software vendor, IT service provider or digital player.
Proven work experience as a Software Engineer/Developer
Ability to develop in Java, Python or other programming languages
Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL
Experience with test-driven development
Proficiency in software engineering tools
Knowledge of Kubernetes and Linux environment.
Ability to document requirements and specifications
Fluent in English.

Desirable :

Additional language (French is a plus).
Basic knowledge of Model serving.
Experience of Cloud providers like Microsoft Azure or AWS, including security and VPN
Experience of Machine Learning in Python.
Knowledge of Design Patterns

Good knowledge of Micro Services architecture

SKILLS

Data management life cycle and quality process
Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting
Database optimization and procedure writing
MLOPS tool is a plus
Data version control
DEVOPS and agile development process
