Senior Manager, Software Engineering, Creation Platform, Customer Identity & Access ManagementSummary of the Role
The purpose of this role is to lead an effective end-to-end engineering group that will shape and deliver the next evolutions of our Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) ecosystem. Key short- to mid-term goals include achieving operational readiness and scale for our cloud-native security solutions (such as GAC Micro-service, token exchange services, and ID Gateway), simplifying and enhancing the CIAM data model by removing dependencies with traditional concepts, and improving the user experience for administration services. Additionally, the role involves redesigning technical solutions for authorization services to enable scaling and near real-time replication of configuration changes, as well as completing the cloud migration of all services.
In this role, you will :
- Lead large teams or other Managers; accountable for performance and results of multiple units.
- Create departmental plans, allocate resources, and control policy formation. Identify and resolve complex problems impacting the division/function.
- Work with limited supervision in a complex environment.
- Develop and share the team roadmap and vision according to objectives.
- Report on team activities and performance.
- Develop plans to address resource and operational challenges.
- Suggest improvements in processes, flows, and operational models.
- Manage production support issues and customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure software systems are designed for testability, stability, scalability, and performance.
- Establish team objectives and targets.
- Lead, motivate, coach, and train team members.
- Provide managerial administrative support (Recruitment, Approvals, MBO process).
- Manage stakeholder interfaces to support customer satisfaction.
- Drive technology initiatives for reliable and scalable solutions.
- Assess and propose new software for new requirements.
- Maintain service and stability of applications.
- Run services at or above agreed service levels.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies.
- Evolve processes, tools, and technology stack for same-day delivery of catalogue services.
- Support incident and problem management processes.
- Communicate and track delivery roadmap.
About Ideal Candidate-
University degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience managing teams to deliver software solutions.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, cloud-native security solutions, and CIAM systems.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern programming languages.
- Experience with cloud migration projects.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

CIAM spans geographically across Europe (Nice + Munich) covering Authentication, Authorization and Fraud Detection services - this role -, and India (Bangalore) covering the Administration and Reporting services.
