Commodity Buyer H/F - Force Intérim Compiègne - 60

For one of our clients, we are looking for a Commodity Buyer H/F for a company offering innovative mobility technologies located in Compiègne (60).

MISSION :
- The Commodity Buyer is responsible to identify and develop a robust supply base for his/her scope.
- Commodity Buyer is responsible to define and implement strategies for a given portfolio
- Support cross-functional teams (supply chain, program buyers, other departments)

Responsibilities & Activities
- Encourage safety activities within extended supply base
- BE accountable for the respect and application of Global Purchasing procedures
- Build and share the reporting of his activities
- Gather important market information
- Identify potential suppliers on the market for the current and future needs
- Manage Supply base management
- Establish, share and implement commodities strategies scope
- Build and maintain up-to-date cost models for his/her commodities
- Encourage suppliers to promote and provide innovative solutions
- Develop TCO approach
- Manage sourcings & Programs Management
- Manage the contractual relationship, including but not limited to intellectual property, payments terms & conditions, etc.
- Responsible to work with legal department to insure the legal soundness of the contractual relationships
- Negotiate competitive conditions and LTAs agreements with suppliers
- Implement and respect the objectives fixed by Purchasing Management
- Attend and/or lead workshops for Purchasing continuous improvement
- Participate to the budget construction for the year N+1

Master degree with Engineering background preferably or Purchasing education
- A minimum of 5 years experience in Purchasing area in a manufacturing industry environment (preferably in the automotive sector)
- Fluency in foreign language(s) business level, English is a Must, French is a Plus
- Master Pack Office and SAP
- Has no issue with frequent travel, both domestic & international
